Community Involvement
The Mustang Cheerleaders give back to the community: supporting EPCHS students and faculty, volunteering their time, and raising awareness to causes that are close to their hearts.

The JV and Varsity Cheerleaders helped Santa and his reindeer come visit the Village of Evergreen Park. The team helped paint faces and organize sleigh rides, while enjoying some holiday entertainment. The event also included a tree lighting ceremony. The Cheerleaders helped create holiday cheer for everyone in the village. |

Evergreen Park Community Theatre- EP Senior CenterOctober 11th & 12th, 2014
The EP Cheerleaders assisted at the Evergreen Park Senior center. The team volunteered on several different capacitates: taking tickets, escorting theater patrons to their seats, and serving refreshments during intermission. On Sunday, October 12th, there was a dinner show where the team served the senior citizens of evergreen park. |
Punt, Pass, and Kick

The JV Team helped at the Evergreen Park Recreational Department's annual Punt, Pass, and Kick Contest. The team assisted youth athletes in the community complete a series of football contests. The girls cheered on the athletes and helped them complete obstacles. Great job to the cheerleaders and the youth athletes in the community! |

Boo at the Zoo!October 19th, 2014
The Mustang Cheerleaders showed off their Halloween spirit at the Brookfield Zoo's Boo at the Zoo. The team lead the costume parade as the Grand Marshals of the event. The girls cheered, tumbled, and stunted for parade bystanders. The day concluded with an exploration of the zoo. |
The Crucial CatchOctober 17th, 2014
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. To help support this cause, the Mustang Cheerleaders held a kids clinic to raise funds for the American Cancer Society. The youth cheerleaders joined the Mustang Cheerleaders at halftime of the Varsity game for a wonderful performance! All proceeds were donated to The American Cancer Society in efforts to end childhood cancer. Thank you to all who joined us for the camp and who donated! |

Stallions Choreography CampAugust 16th & 17th, 2014
The Mustang Cheerleaders teamed up with the EP Stallions Youth Cheerleading Program to work on cheerleading skills and techniques. The Mustang cheerleaders taught all four Stallions teams competition routines for year and gave them some pointers on how to be successful in the competition season. |
Independence Day ParadeJuly 3rd, 2014
The Mustang Cheerleaders made their first appearance of the season in the Evergreen Park Independence Day Parade. The girls marched their way down 95th Street while showing off stunts, tumbling skills and doing sideline cheers. |

Day in the ParkSaturday, June 28th, 2014
The Evergreen Park High School Varsity Cheerleaders provided their assistance at the Evergreen Park "Day in the Park". They collected donations for the Village's Food Pantry, sold concessions, and helped out with Evergreen's finest by passing out information on fire safety from the Fire Department and free gifts from the Police Department. |

Multiple Sclerosis WalkSunday, May 4th, 2014
Multiple Sclerosis is a cause that the EP Cheerleaders hold near and dear to our hearts. MS not only effects several families in the Evergreen Park community, but it also effects several EP Mustang Cheerleading Families (immediate and extended). The cheerleaders showed thier support and helped raise awareness by volunteering at the MS Walk by encouraging walkers and passing out medals at the finishline. |
Easter HappeningsSaturday, April 12th, 2014
The EP Cheerleaders volunteered at the Easter Happenings at the Evergreen Park Community Center. The girls helped children from around EP color Easter eggs, do crafts, and meet the Easter Bunny. The event was a fun way for the team to met some of Future Mustangs of Evergreen Park. |

Washington, IL Tornado ReliefSaturday, November 23rd, 2013
The Mustang Cheerleaders, along with cheerleaders all over the state, collected small personal items for those affected by Sunday, November 17th's tornadoes. The Mustang Cheerleaders joined with neighboring squads at Oak Forest High School where items were sorted, bagged, and then delivered to the IHSA Office for distribution. Thank you to all who helped! |
